HSSM Welcomes New Partners

Hamilton, Stephens, Steele + Martin, PLLC is pleased to announce that Lynn Krueger-Andes and Kyle W. LeBlanc have been named partners of the firm.

HSSM’s family law department includes Lynn, Kyle, and Mark Riopel, all of whom are Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. Lynn obtained her law license in 2011 and is a member of Charlotte Collaborative Divorce Professionals.  She is a Certified Family Financial Mediator, and her practice is a balance between mediating family law matters and representing her own clients both in and out of the courtroom with respect to all areas of domestic law.  She has found that adding mediations to her practice has resulted in helping even more people reach a resolution in their lives.

Kyle obtained his law license in 2011 and has been practicing family law exclusively since 2012. He joined HSSM as a family law attorney in 2018.  Kyle has been described as “a rising star in family law circles” and his clients admire that he is “not only an honest lawyer but an absolute professional.”  Kyle is a fantastic litigator who advocates zealously for his clients without compromising his professionalism.

Lynn’s community involvement is extensive and includes, serving on the committee for the Mecklenburg County Pro Bono and Legal Recruitment Committee, as well as the NCBA 4All Committee, Charlotte Chapter, both of which provide pro bono legal services to people who cannot afford representation.  She serves on the Executive Board of Shelter Health Services and was STANDOUT of the Year 2020 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Charlotte.

Kyle is actively involved in the Mecklenburg County Bar, being named Mecklenburg County Bar’s 2018-2019 Young Lawyer of the Year.  He is a recent graduate of the Bar Leadership Institute.  Kyle stands up in the fight against domestic violence, not only through representation of individual victims and those wrongly accused of domestic violence but also by serving as the Chair of the Steering Committee of “Men for Change”; a group which works in conjunction with Safe Alliance. Kyle currently serves on the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Grievance Committee having been so appointed this year.

Both Kyle and Lynn have been named to Super Lawyers and Legal Elite for multiple years running.  Kyle and Lynn have both been invited to speak at various Continuing Legal Educations and other presentations for lawyers in North Carolina.

Perhaps one of the more interesting things about Lynn and Kyle is that they are both “unicorns” (Charlotte natives). Although Kyle was not born in Charlotte, he moved here in 1991 and claims Charlotte as his home. Lynn and Kyle are both married to attorneys who they each met in law school.  Lynn has two children and Kyle has a Great Dane, who weighs more than Lynn’s two children put together.

Please join HSSM in welcoming Lynn and Kyle as partners effective January 1, 2021!
