The women of HSSM were privileged to serve as platinum sponsor for the Second Annual Mimosa Breakfast for the Women in Architecture (“WIA”) Committee of AIA Charlotte. On December 6, 2018, a packed house at the Mint Museum heard from an all-female panel featuring “Game Changers” in the AE and construction fields, and HSSM’s own Becky Cheney spoke briefly about the impact of groups like WIA in nurturing and encouraging women in the industry.
