Lance is an associate in Hamilton Stephens’ Commercial Real Estate and corporate transactions practice group.
Lance has broad experience in all aspects of real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, development, leasing and real estate finance issues. Prior to joining Hamilton Stephens Steele + Martin, Lance practiced law at commercial real estate firms in Chicago where his practice focused on the representation of investors, developers and institutional lenders in transactions utilizing the syndication of low-income housing tax credits and the representation of institutional lenders and government agencies in connection with the development of commercial and mixed use real property. Lance also regularly represents clients in various aspects of entity formation and governance, including the preparation of operating agreements, bylaws and purchase-sale agreements.
Lance graduated from Duke University, where he was a member of the varsity football and basketball teams. Prior to attending law school, Lance tried his luck at professional football for a few years before deciding to go to law school.
