Caline graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Political Science and Psychology. She then became a double Tar Heel when she earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors. While in law school, she was the Managing Editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology and a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic where she represented survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Prior to joining HSSM, Caline served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office where she represented the State of North Carolina in bench trials and jury trials, primarily prosecuting crimes of domestic violence and property crimes.

Caline is an active member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and was a Class of 2020 graduate of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Bar Leadership Institute.

Outside of the office, Caline enjoys cooking, exploring new places in Charlotte, and weekend trips to her hometown, Wilmington, NC.
