Prior to joining HSSM, Nancy worked in the General Liability and Products Liability practice groups for a civil defense litigation firm in southern California. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill and spent her undergraduate years at Georgetown University. While in law school, Nancy interned with the public defender’s office in Hillsborough, participated as a competitor and coach for the Broun National Trial Team, and served as an Articles Editor and staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology.
