  • Jack joined HSSM in 2025 as an associate in the Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Bankruptcy, Restructuring + Debtor/Creditors’ Rights groups.
    Jack’s practice focuses on the intersection of commercial and corporate litigation as well as representing clients in restructuring and insolvency proceedings. He represents a wide array of clients in all aspects of litigation throughout North Carolina, including subcontractors, business owners, commercial landlords and companies in the real estate, energy, finance, and automotive industries. His experience has afforded him the opportunity to work on complex litigation and argue before the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Additionally, Jack has extensive experience representing debtors and creditors in adversary proceedings, preference actions, and confirmation hearings in bankruptcy cases.
    Prior to joining HSSM, Jack worked at a regional law firm. His practice focused on civil and bankruptcy litigation. Jack began his career clerking for the Hon. William Sawyer in the Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
    Jack earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While at Alabama Law, Jack served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Law and Psychology Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Jack also received the CALI award for Constitutional Law.
    In his spare time Jack enjoys cheering on (or suffering with) his Ole Miss Rebels, hiking, exploring Charlotte, and spending time with his dog, Blue.
