Tara DiJohn has recently joined HSSM as an associate in the practice areas of Appellate Advocacy; Commercial Litigation; Construction Law; Corporate Transactions, Governance + Disputes; Design Professional Services; Land Use / Condemnation; Local Government; and Real Estate. Tara attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, after completing her undergraduate education at the University of Miami (FL). Prior to joining HSSM, Tara interned with the Office of the Solicitor for the U.S. Department of the Interior in Knoxville, Tennessee, and worked as a summer law clerk for Amari & Locallo, a real estate tax law firm in Chicago, Illinois. During law school, Tara also worked as a research assistant for a University of Florida law professor whose scholarship focused primarily on regulatory takings jurisprudence in addition to serving as a teaching assistant for several courses, including Trial Practice, Appellate Advocacy, and Legal Writing. HSSM is excited to have Tara join the firm.
