Chris Hood Joins HSSM

HSSM is pleased to announce that Chris Hood joined the firm as an associate attorney on June 12, 2017. Chris’ practice will focus on Construction Law and Civil Litigation, handling matters ranging from contract negotiation and representation of owners, contractors, and design professionals to the litigation and arbitration of commercial and construction disputes.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Wake Forest University and his law degree from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Prior to joining HSSM, Chris practiced for seven years with the Charlotte law firm Horack, Talley, Pharr & Lowndes, where he represented family law clients, as well as a variety of corporate entities and individuals, litigating before both trial and appellate state courts. Hailing from a long line of native Charlotteans, Chris resides in the Ballantyne area with his wife, Audrey, and their two daughters, Kennedy and Charlotte. When not practicing law, Chris enjoys playing golf and cheering on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Atlanta Braves, and Carolina Panthers.
